November 2025 Update
The month of November began with a series of interesting activities.

SPJ Sadhana School participated in the A.W.M.H Maharashtra State Level 16th Table Tennis Tournament held at the Goregaon Sports Club. 14 athletes from the juniors, IL and VTC sections participated in the Tournament. We are proud of the performance of our students, who have won several medals, 6 Silver, 7 Bronze and 1 Copper, in the Singles Competition and in the Skills Contest.

Sadhana School participated in the Nalanda Interschool Ace Chef Competition Fusion Fiesta. This event beautifully showcased inclusivity, bringing together a diverse group of students including those from the special category on one vibrant platform. Such initiatives truly empower young chefs and create meaningful opportunities for them to shine. Ms. Tejal Kothari, who had the opportunity to serve as a judge at this competition, was impressed by the creativity, passion and talent displayed by the participants, and was especially grateful to Ms. Aarti Gandhi for the warm hospitality. Students of SPJ Sadhana School stole the show at this competition - Team Ketki and Ayaan won 1st place, with a delectable spread featuring Dabeli Tacos, Chocolate Balls and Greek Salad. It was indeed a proud moment for the students and their dedicated mentors.

Children's Day was joyfully celebrated over two wonderful days filled with colour, creativity and togetherness. Students gathered in the Gym in bright colourful clothes for a lively Charlie Chaplin show, which the children found fascinating, and a delicious lunch sponsored by Ms. Saloni Sachdev and her grandchildren, as a special treat for the students, staff and volunteers. A peaceful session of melodious bhajans was conducted by Mr. Sailesh Mehta. This was followed by a fun coaster-making activity for FY and IL students, which was beautifully conducted by Ms. Amee and Mr. Ashwin on behalf of Camlin. The students thoroughly enjoyed expressing their creativity through these beautiful hand-crafted pieces. They were delighted to see beauty emerge in the form of the coasters they created. Truly the celebration combined learning with joyful moments.

The activities through the month of November have also focused on the much awaited Annual Fete to be held on December 13th. Students and staff have been enthusiastically preparing a wide range of creative handcrafted items including beautifully decorated bottle items, face napkins with stencil designs, crochet bags and tote bags enhanced with block prints. Students are also carefully crafting delightful accessories such as beaded tic-tac clips and mobile charms, and preparing a variety of useful office items, such as planners and diaries. The Exhibition will also feature an array of delicious food items, prepared with great excitement

An interesting talk on Behaviour Management was conducted by Shradha Vora, who is a Behaviour Therapist with over 17 years of experience in India and the USA, specializing in Autism and ADHD, and providing individualized plans for neurodivergent children.

SPJ Sadhana School received a visit from Dr. Helen Madden, who is a highly qualified practicing medical physician and a Director on the Board of Stuartholme School, Brisbane, Australia. The school has been a leader in education for girls for over a hundred years, and is one of the first Catholic schools in Brisbane.

The school also received a visit from Sr. Marie Gisele of the Sacred Heart, who lives and works in Vietnam, and was visiting India for the first time. Both visitors were keenly interested in the training and therapies offered by our school.

The birthdays of our students of the Formative Years, Vidur and Dev from Grade 3 and Saksham, Vivaan and Tanishq from Grade 4 were celebrated with a fun outing that had a nature theme. The students, accompanied by their teachers, parents, and care workers, went for the Nature Trail Walk at Malabar Hill. All the students walked in a disciplined manner along the path, observing various aspects of their surroundings with great interest, pausing to look around and notice the beautiful natural surroundings. This experience was very appropriate because of Sadhana School's focus on the environment and on nature, and the outing provided the students with a very different and enjoyable exposure to nature.

After the walk the children enjoyed playing games, singing songs and dancing. This was followed by a vegetarian lunch at a restaurant, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

Thus the month of November ended with this enjoyable celebration.
