December 2025 Update
The month of December is always filled with excitement at Sadhana School, because it is the month in which we have our Annual FĂȘte 2025.

The theme for this year's Annual FĂȘte was "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". At the Inauguration Ceremony, the Principal, Ms. Fionika Sanghvi described how the Exhibition reflected the school's commitment to fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness. The students showcased their understanding of environmental responsibility through innovative projects and creative expressions. Ms. Sanghvi stressed the fact that through the concept of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" the students demonstrated empathy and compassion for our planet, and inspired us to adopt eco-friendly habits and make conscious choices in our everyday lives. Many of the products on display were made from recyclable material and through creating these products the students developed an awareness of how important and meaningful it is to reuse resources.

The Principal welcomed the Chief Guests, Ms. Annie Bafna and Ms. Mansi Jasani.

Ms. Annie Bafna the founder of The Nutcracker, a Mumbai restaurant brand established in 2014. Driven by her passion for wholesome food and warm hospitality, she set up the Nutcracker as Mumbai's first Eggetarian all-day breakfast space. Over the years the restaurant has become synonymous with honest food, thoughtful design and a strong sense of community. The restaurant has also provided our students with the opportunity to work in the mainstream kitchen, as a step on their journey towards the work world.

Ms. Mansi Jasani, the founder of The Cheese Collective, Bombay, is a cheesemaker, cheese monger and international cheese judge. Her cheese journey began in 2011 at Murray's cheese, New York, and since then she has participated in various cheese conferences and festivals in various countries. Her experience includes making, curating and selling cheeses, teaching, conducting workshops, co-authoring a chapter on India in the Oxford Companion to Cheese. Ms. Mansi conducted a valuable lesson for our H&C students, introducing them to different cheeses - their flavour, texture, label and many other details. She also participated in the exhibition, donating the proceeds from the sale of her cheeses to the school.

After the Inauguration Ceremony and the lighting of the inaugural lamp, the Exhibition was thrown open to visitors. The atmosphere was festive and filled with excitement as the staff and students welcomed visitors to the exhibition which was spread over three floors of the school. The Fifth floor showcased the products created by students of various Departments. The stalls saw brisk sales as visitors appreciated the wide range of beautifully crafted items.

The Fourth floor was filled with great excitement as visitors tried their hand at a variety of games and activities based on the theme of sustainability and environmental responsibility. The Third floor had visitors enthusiastically sampling the delicious food items prepared and presented by our students. Indeed, the response to the exhibition was most heart-warming. Fun-filled carol-singing sessions at the jam session added to the joyful atmosphere.
