UPDATES FOR JUNE 2018
CEREMONIES & CELEBRATIONS:
World Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2018 with a short enactment of Yoga conducted during 'A Walk In The Woods'. The staff were enthusiastic about the dramatic interplay. It was a time of "Yoga" fun and frolic.
26th June 2018 was a day of great excitement for the school. The "Chakra Baby" was formally "adopted". The Elephant foundation art work "Chakra Baby" was conceptualized and created by Ms. Mehr Jessia Rampal and Mr. Mozez Singh. The sculpture was donated by the Elephant Family, London, to SPJ Sadhana in appreciation of the student's participation in the "save the elephant" campaign. The students had executed exceptionally inspired drawings which impressed the philanthropists into donating the elephant. The Chakra Baby has also become a symbol of the school's holistic philosophy of education. The school celebrated the inauguration with an energetic dance performance by the students in honour of Lord Ganesha – the giver of Knowledge and Prosperity.
